Phenolic wastewater is one of important pollutant, but phenol substance is also one important chemical material and have much additional value. So separation and purification the phenol substance from wastewater is one of the most effective method to protect environment. Now the treatment for phenolic wastewater are burning, extraction, steam, adsorption and chemical precipitation method.

Adopted to centrifugal extraction technology to treat phenolic wastewater by Tianyi company, it is low cost, small energy consumption and small working area, at the same time, this process is a closed recycling system and can achieve zero discharge of wastewater.

Technology description:
Extraction process: Phenolic wastewater and extractant enter in centrifugal extractor in proportion at the same time, after 2-3 stages extraction, wastewater was discharged; Back extraction process: Extractant contained phenol( load organic phase) enter in back extractor, at the same time, alkali liquid enter in proportion, after 2-3stages back extraction, alkali washing, and the extractant could be recycling. Sodium phenolate liquid formed after back extraction could be recycling.

Centrifugal Extractor Working Pinciple:
1.Mixing and mass transfer process:
Light and heavy liquor enter in the annulus mixed zone proportionally and from two different feed pipe orifice respectively, which formed by bowl and shell, with the help of bowl’s rotation, the two phases through turbine disc and impeller mixing and dispersing quickly, after mass transfer completely, to finish mass transfer process.
 
2.Two phases separation process
With the eddy-current disc help, mixture enter in bowl, at the compartment formed by board, the mixture is quickly synchronized with the bowl, under the action of centrifugal force, the larger density liquor moving away from the bowl center to the wall gradually in the upward flow; and the small density liquor doing the opposite, after clarification, two liquids enter into collection chamber with their own weir plate respectively, and drawn out by tigella, to finish the separation process.
