
Toluene extraction is a liquid-liquid extraction technology that uses toluene as an organic solvent to separate, enrich or purify specific target substances from aqueous solutions. Toluene Extraction Process
- Raw material mixing: The water phase (such as reaction liquid) containing the target component and the organic phase toluene are pumped into the centrifugal extractor in proportion.
- High-speed mixing and mass transfer: Under the strong shear force in the rotor, the two phases are instantly highly dispersed and mixed, and the target component is quickly dissolved into the toluene phase.
- Centrifugal separation: The mixed liquid enters the drum separation area, and under the strong centrifugal force, the heavy phase (water phase) and the light phase (toluene-rich phase) are quickly and clearly separated.
- Phase collection: The separated water phase (raffinate) and the toluene phase rich in the target are continuously discharged from different outlets.
- Toluene recovery: The toluene phase enters the subsequent distillation unit to recover toluene and obtain high-purity products.
