In fine chemical production, removing DMF from the dichloromethane system containing the target product is a crucial purification step. Traditional batch-type reactor extraction methods are not only inefficient and labor-intensive but also fail to meet the requirements of modern production in terms of continuity, safety, and scalability. To address this industry bottleneck, Zhengzhou Tiei Extraction Technology has innovatively introduced a continuous countercurrent extraction process centered around the CWL-M series centrifugal extractor, providing a stable and reliable equipment solution for the efficient separation of the dichloromethane-DMF system.

The DMF extraction system employs the Tiei Extraction CWL-M centrifugal extractor and adopts a solvent extraction process. By precisely controlling the washing and recovery stages, the process achieves efficient removal of DMF and water-soluble impurities while maximizing product recovery. In the washing stage, the centrifugal extractor accurately regulates the feed ratio and flow rates of the dichloromethane feed solution and the washing water, enabling rapid transfer of DMF and water-soluble impurities into the aqueous phase. In the recovery stage, the washed aqueous phase is subjected to two-stage countercurrent extraction with dichloromethane, effectively recovering entrained product and realizing efficient resource recycling. The entire process is carried out under continuous operation of the CWL-M centrifugal extractor, significantly enhancing production continuity and overall system stability.

Compared with traditional reactors, the Tiei Extraction CWL-M centrifugal extractor offers the following outstanding advantages:

  • High-efficiency continuous production: Enables fully continuous operation across the entire process with high throughput, significantly reducing inter-batch waiting time and labor input.
  • Stable and safe operation: The system features excellent enclosure, resulting in low solvent evaporation losses, and is equipped as standard with an electrostatic discharge device to effectively eliminate safety hazards.
  • Significant energy savings and reduced consumption: Low power consumption (e.g., the CWL350-M model requires only 2.2 kW), high solvent recycling efficiency, and markedly reduced overall operating costs.
  • Strong adaptability: Corrosion-resistant materials allow operation under strong acid and strong alkali conditions, making the equipment suitable for a wide range of complex process environments.

Currently, the Tiei Extraction CWL-M centrifugal extractor has been successfully applied in several chemical companies, achieving significant results in improving product purity, reducing production costs, and improving the operating environment.
