Experiments have shown that sludge requires acid leaching to produce a sulfuric acid leachate. However, this leachate is a strong acid, necessitating solvent extraction to separate and recover the valuable metals in the leachate and improve the purity of the separated metals. Non-saponifiable Extraction Experiment
First, the pickling sludge produced in the stainless steel production process is leached with sulfuric acid. The obtained sulfuric acid leaching liquid is extracted with a non-saponifiable extractant using the CWL-M centrifugal extractor. The pH of the sulfuric acid leachate is adjusted, and then the non-saponifiable P204 extractant and the sulfuric acid leachate are injected into the centrifugal extractor in a specific ratio. The leachate and extractant mix and transfer under the shear force generated by the rotating drum. The mixed liquid is rapidly separated by the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed operation of the drum. The separated organic phase and raffinate are discharged through their respective phase outlets, completing the extraction process.

Saponification Extraction Experiment
When conducting saponification extraction experiments, the pickling sludge also needs to be leached with sulfuric acid, the pH value of the leaching solution is adjusted, and then the saponified P204 extractant and the sulfuric acid leaching solution are injected into the continuous extraction equipment in proportion. After the mixed mass transfer and separation of the two-phase liquid, it is discharged from the body to complete the extraction and separation process.

Experiments have shown that different extractants have different extraction effects on aqueous feed.
