In the early days, NMP refining lubricating oil mostly used extraction column equipment. The problems with this equipment are: first, the equipment energy consumption in production is relatively large; second, the refining efficiency is not high; and third, the amount of solvent consumed is high. Working Principle of CWL-M Centrifugal Extractor
The centrifugal extractor uses a motor to drive the drum to rotate at high speed. Two liquids with different densities and immiscible with each other complete the mixing and mass transfer under the shear force generated by the rotation of the drum or blades, and are quickly separated under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the drum. The non-ideal polar components in the oil are removed by solvent extraction to improve the viscosity index, oxidation stability and color of the lubricating oil.
