Citric Acid Extraction Process
In the extraction process of citric acid, first, after the raw materials are fermented, the fermentation liquid and the selected extractant are injected into the centrifugal extractor through different inlets according to a certain ratio. Through the centrifugal force of the equipment, the fermentation liquid and the extractant are quickly mixed and transferred.
After the mixed liquid is subjected to centrifugal force, the light and heavy phases of the liquid are discharged from the body through different outlets to complete the extraction process. The loaded organic phase after extraction is separated from the citric acid and the extractant through the stripping, and the extractant is recycled and reused.
