DMF wastewater treatment, extraction of organic phases such as phenol, etc., which method can be used? What is the effect? Today, I will explain to you the methods of DMF wastewater treatment.
DMF Wastewater Treatment Method
1.Biochemical method
DMF, the full name is N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF). If DMF wastewater is treated by biochemical methods, the content in the effluent can be reduced to below 10 mg/L. However, the wastewater needs to be pretreated before entering the biochemical stage, so the process of this method is relatively complicated.
2.SBR process treatment method
When the wastewater is treated by SBR process, when the inlet concentration is 3000-4000 mg/L, the outlet concentration can be reduced to 400-600 mg/L, and the removal rate is 75%. The process has a good effect, and the outlet ammonia nitrogen is less than 10 mg/L. However, the main pollutant dimethylformamide will produce nitrogen oxides that are difficult to biodegrade after treatment, and further treatment is required. Therefore, the SBR process is currently only suitable for use as a pretreatment method.
3.Solvent Extraction Method
Solvent extraction is currently the most commonly used process, which mainly involves selecting a suitable extractant to extract the organic phase from the wastewater.
The specific process flow is as follows:
Mixed mass transfer: First select a suitable extractant, contact it with the wastewater, and use the different distribution ratios of pollutants in water and solvent to separate and extract pollutants.
Stripping: Use a stripping agent to strip the extractant containing the extractant, recover the useful substances therein, regenerate the extractant and reuse it.
Compared with the previous two methods, the solvent extraction method requires a smaller investment cost, brings substantial benefits to the enterprise, and can effectively reduce the content of DMF wastewater to meet the emission requirements.
DMF Wastewater Treatment Solvent Extraction Equipment
It is recommended to use CWL-M centrifugal extractor, which is a commonly used extraction equipment in solvent extraction operation. CWL-M centrifugal extractor is a liquid-liquid extraction and separation equipment developed and produced by Zhengzhou Tiei Extraction, which has mature technology and cases in wastewater treatment.
CWL-M centrifugal extractor is a new, fast, high-speed liquid-liquid extraction and separation equipment, which is fundamentally different from traditional extraction equipment such as mixer settlers and extraction columns in terms of working principle. The centrifugal extractor uses a motor to drive the drum to rotate at high speed. Two liquids with different densities and immiscible with each other complete the mixing and mass transfer under the shear force generated by the rotation of the drum or blades, and are quickly separated under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the drum.
